How To Match Your Marketing Message To Their Mindset…

Let’s think about how you can match your marketing message as it relates to your prospects’ MINDSET

What message are you sending to your prospects’ right now?

How important do you think sending the right message is to attracting and engaging a specific ‘target market’…?

It’s kind of important right? So let me share with you a bit more about this approach.

At Coaching Club™, we call this – CHANNELING THE 4 FORCES!!

The 4 dominant decision making motivations every person goes through before making a decision to act.

Every single discussion I have with a client or a prospect, every single piece of marketing or IP that I create, literally every time I speak to a human being in my FP, my Accounting or my Business Coaching Businesses… I talked and thought about their 4 FORCES!

Reality is, that the first thing you’re trying to do is to figure out ‘how to make them need YOU and to want your stuff’.

The Theory

Up front you need to be aware that some people are motivated TOWARDS what they want, and some people are motivated AWAY from what they don’t want. So there’s a vertical line straight up and down that represents towards and away from.

Then you’ve got some people who are motivated by the present – Right Now – that’s IMMEDIATE… and some who are motivated by the Imagined – that’s the FUTURE… So there’s a horizontal line that represents the now and the future. Does that make sense as a concept?

So you’ve got some issues that are really present right now… so that’s FRUSTRATIONS right now that they want to move away from…, and WANTS right now (TOP) things that they are moving towards – that’s Immediate………..

And then there are FEARS and ASPIRATIONS…. Imagined – in future (BOTTOM)…! The things people want to move away from in the future – not right now… (It’s hard to be scared about yesterday; you’re normally only scared about tomorrow…)

 

 

 

 

 

Why am I talking about this?

Well the reason is that if you can figure out what’s driving your clients or prospects’ Dominant Decision making MOTIVATIONS  – their 4 FORCES… then all you have to do is push the right HOT BUTTONS… in the RIGHT ORDER…, in a very PARTICULAR & a very POWERFUL WAY to give you AMAZING long term results…!

Why is this important?

When you match your marketing message, you’ll engage more of the right clients and keep them longer…! If you can harness these 4 Forces…, then it makes saying yes to you easy and it also provides them continual reasons to stay with you for the long haul…. Why? Because you’re addressing all 4 aspects of their decision making process (whether that’s to buy you initially or to stick with you long term…) and you’ve ‘nailed’ every single ‘Hot Button’ that they have – many times – before they’ve even asked about them…! You’ll get so good at this in your discussions, you’ll know their problems (frustrations & fears) and their goals (wants and aspirations) even better than they do – positioning YOU as the Authority and the Expert. The skill is identifying the Hot Buttons within the 4 Forces…! Make sense?? I hope it does.
